1. SOANI's role as a technical intermediary
Nature of the platform: SOANI acts exclusively as a technical intermediary and digital platform through which prospective au pairs and host families can independently find and contact one another.
No agency or employer status: SOANI is not a traditional placement agency, does not employ au pair candidates and does not enter into employment or hosting agreements on behalf of users.
2. No guarantee of matching or reliability
Matching outcome: SOANI does not guarantee a match, perfect compatibility, or the availability or active presence of candidates or families.
Profile accuracy: although SOANI uses moderation and verification tools, it cannot guarantee that information, documents or photographs published by users are accurate, truthful, authentic or complete.
User checks: families and au pairs must exercise their own judgement, conduct thorough interviews and independently perform all necessary checks, including references, background, visas and identity documents, before making a commitment.
3. The au pair relationship and disputes
Au pair agreement: every agreement or au pair contract is entered into directly and exclusively between the host family and the au pair. SOANI is not a party to it and accepts no responsibility for its performance, observance, amendment or early termination.
Incidents: SOANI is not liable for disputes, disagreements, inappropriate behaviour, financial, moral or physical harm, or other incidents occurring outside or through the application, whether during online exchanges or in the host household.
4. Administrative and legal information
Information, guides and advice about administrative procedures, visas, au pair law or settling in another country are provided for information only. Laws, regulations and administrative decisions may change. Each user must verify their own legal compliance with the competent official authorities.
5. Third-party services and the Smooth Arrival Pack
SOANI may link to or provide access to third-party partner services, such as insurance, SIM cards or language courses. SOANI does not control these providers and is not responsible for their service quality, prices or related disputes.
6. Technical availability and security
SOANI uses current technology but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, completely error-free operation or absolute protection against cyberattacks and malicious software. The publisher applies reasonable measures to protect data but is not liable for data loss, service interruption or damage to a user's device resulting from use of the application.
